  • This is a lacquered lapel pin expressing "kinun," the golden clouds of classical Japanese painting.

This lapel pin comes from the playful "Asobigokoro" series and takes its motif from "kinun," the golden clouds that frame scenes in classical Japanese folding screens and picture scrolls. Crafted from natural wood and finished with urushi lacquer and gold leaf, it brings a small touch of traditional lacquer art to a jacket lapel or collar.
The pin section is brass-plated. A refined little accent that adds a sense of Japanese craftsmanship to everyday style, it also makes a thoughtful gift.
