This is a tray depicting a "Sakura" which is a typical flower of Japan.
Drawn "Sakura" blossoms is inlaid into the tray that was painted bright "Shu" color by using a technique called "Raden" work.
Products which is drawn picture of cherry is often used as a gift of spring in Japan.
